Where help is needed?
No marathon can be complete without pacemakers: they are the leading runners, who cover the distance with a certain pace and who help the participants finish in time. Therefore, Chisinau International Marathon is no exception!
If you are an experienced runner, and you are able to maintain the same pace throughout the whole marathon distance, this year, you have the opportunity to become a pacemaker at Chisinau Marathon.

At the finish line all participants will get commemorative medals, while the winners will receive valuable prizes, as well.
As a pacemaker, you will have to run the distance with the set speed and lead the athletes, who will be guided by your finish time. A timing flag will be fixed on the back of the pacemaker, so the participants won’t lose sight of them.

5 hours
6 hours
Important
We encourage you to take this responsibility seriously. Don’t overestimate your capabilities, because the results of other runners depend on you!
